I'm Dr. Luis C. Almeida
Professor and Professional Photographer
I am an associate professor at Claflin University and have been a professor for 10 years and counting. My fine art photography ventures are really being spearheaded by my wife, Amanda. We live in South Carolina with our daughter.
My photography pursuits range from landscapes to fine art and photojournalism. As a professor I have to dabble in everything but my true passion is the ability to speak visually through my fine art photography. I am a Nikon camera man and hold a NPS membership. I'm a member of PPA.

I'm Amanda Almeida
Professional Photographer
I am a Nikon photographer and a lover of traditional film photography. I love expressing the wonders of God's creations through images; as well as, working with clients to create fun experiences with our photo booth.
I have always been an art lover and creator. Photography has enabled my interest in exploration to flourish. Alongside my husband, Dr A Photo is a true family business.
Inspiration
We see the work of God everywhere. And it's simply fascinating. To showcase a fleeting moment, natural place or animal; to evoke emotion; to pull the viewer's eyes into the life of the photo are our inspirations. We want to "wow" you like God "wow's" us.
Techniques
DigiVibrado is Dr. A's own creation. It's a digital vibrancy based on pictorial photography methods from the late 1800s and transformed into our era with my editing techniques.
Year Highlights
2021 is a great year with two gold Hermes awards, a gold AVA award a gold Dot Comm award, and a silver Davey Award.
This year we added our photo booth options and moved to South Carolina.
We started working with Cheaha State Park in Alabama.
